Sugar Glider Sugar Bear babies 8

You would like to pick up your pet and play with it while it is still awake and moving around. Since this can get a little tricky and complicated, it should be avoided in the initial bonding stages. The following method works for both baby sugar glider sugar bears as well as adult sugar glider sugar bears that have never bonded with humans before. The first thing to remember is that sugar glider sugar bears can be incredibly fast, so you should ensure your hand is ahead of them. Also, you should pick up your sugar glider sugar bear as quickly as possible, because otherwise there will be a lot of running around the cage and therefore lots of stress for you and your pet.

You would have gotten a fleece bonding pouch with your pet, which would ideally have a mesh window and a quality zipper to make sure your pet doesn’t escape. To pick up your sugar glider sugar bear, take this pouch and turn it inside out to use as a mitten. Then, keeping your hand in front of your pet, just pin it against the cage. Remember that they will try their best to wiggle out of your hold, so have a firm grasp. Then, putting your index finger on top of your sugar glider sugar bear’s head, gently pull away from the cage till it is only holding on with its hands. Give it a few seconds to release its grip of the cage or gently do it with your fingers. As you get your pet out, you can zip it in the pouch, but remember that you should keep a small apple slice inside so that it remains hydrated inside. In the initial stages, you should only pick up your sugar glider sugar bear while it is sleeping, but with time as you get to know each other, you can pick up your pet at any time to play with it.
