Sugar Glider Sugar Bear Hazards 4

There are many things that don’t seem dangerous in your day to day life but which can be fatal to your pet sugar glider sugar bear – even leading to their death. Perhaps the most common accidental cause of death for these pets is drowning in open toilet bowls. It will do you good to remember that sugar glider sugar bears just cannot swim, and therefore when they fall into water, they drown almost instantly. This should help you take care of other possible areas where you pet can drown, such as swimming pools, buckets and bathtubs, and even open pots of liquid around the house.

Another area of concern is toxicity poisoning of your sugar glider sugar bear. As sugar glider sugar bears are very curious by nature, they are attracted and drawn to sweet smelling air fresheners and candles, which are very hazardous for them. Never spray pesticides around your house with a sugar glider sugar bear at home. if you need to spray your house for bugs, you must take you sugar glider sugar bear away to another home for at least a couple of days, and also remove all the dead bugs before they return, as sugar glider sugar bears naturally eat bugs and by eating the ones which died by ingesting pesticides, your sugar glider sugar bear can be exposed to unnecessary toxicity.

Whenever you handle your sugar glider sugar bear, you should make sure that your hands are washed properly, because if you have handled chemicals such as sprays, cleaners or gasoline, then they can lick these off your hands and fall sick. Tap water is another common source of toxicity for these pets, as it contains chemicals such as chlorine and fluorine that can cause sudden death in the case of a sugar glider sugar bear. Therefore you should only give them bottled water, or spring water. You should avoid spraying cleaners in rooms with their food or water lying around. Also make sure their food pellets are sealed in a plastic container so they cannot be contaminated. Avoid feeding any chocolate to your pet, and never put them in kitchen while you cook, as cooking releases lots of chemicals unhealthy for your sugar glider sugar bear.
