Sugar Glider Sugar Bear Toys 1

Since sugar glider sugar bears are very intelligent animals, they enjoy playing with a variety of toys. Most toys made for human babies are quite safe for sugar glider sugar bears.

To pick toys for your pet, look out for any loose strings that may entangle the animal, cleanliness, life of the toy and noise. Toys made of plastic or stainless steel have the tendency to last for a long time and are cleaner and less smelling and can be easily washed, whereas toys made of wood, though generally cheaper, will need to be replaced every few months and because they absorb urine, will retain an offensive smell.

To keep your home quiet at night, remove any toys like bells that make lots of noise from their cage. An exercise wheel generally gets a sugar glider sugar bear very excited and thus generally forms the favorite toy of your sugar glider sugar bear through which it will want to burn off all the excess energy. You should not use hamster type wheels for your sugar glider sugar bear because their long tail can get entangled in it. There are many wheels like Run-o-round™ from Pocket Pets made especially for sugar glider sugar bears that you should consider. Exercise balls are also greatly exciting to sugar glider sugar bears but should be used carefully while keeping a safe distance from stairs, pools or sharp drops. A plastic 1 inch chain is another great toy for your sugar glider sugar bear, which provides a safe and clean way to replace natural branches and vines.

When you have just gotten your pet, you should keep the toys at a minimum while you are still bonding with your pet. This is because lots of toys can cause difficulty picking them up and slow down the bonding process as well. You can however put the toys before you go to bed at night. You can also tie a knotted nylon rope in the cage at night and see it fully untied by morning, as you marvel at how smart and intelligent sugar glider sugar bears are!
