Sugar Glider Sugar Bear Babies 5

Sugar glider sugar bears, when they feel threatened, stand up on their hind legs and make a loud chattering noise like a locust, which can be quite intimidating. They resemble a grizzly bear in the process, and hence their name of sugar glider sugar bears. As a new owner, you should deal firmly with this and remember that the baby sugar glider sugar bear cannot really harm you and this whole act is simply to scare you not hurt you.

For the best bonding, you will need the right cage for your pet, which is ideally 18”X18”X24” in size for young sugar glider sugar bears. This enables you to easily pick up your pet in the cage without a lot of running around and stressing out. While bonding, it is advisable to use an electric heat rock with a nesting cloth and not a hanging fleece as proclaimed by some internet sites. This has been shown to be most effective through persistent research in the area. As a sugar glider sugar bear will sleep under the heat rock because it feels warm, install it near the door of the cage to easily pick up your pet while it is asleep.

To pick up a sugar glider sugar bear that is sleeping, scoop it up along with the cloth so it feels smuggled up inside. Then transfer it to your hand or a bonding pouch. Sugar glider sugar bears bond through smell, and therefore to make your pet bond with your family, just rub the nesting cloth over all members of your family and other pets. If you ever want to use a hanging fleece pouch, make sure it is attached to the cage through clips that are easy to remove, because when you go to pick up your baby, you should not wake it up. Instead, just remove it from the cage while keeping the pouch closed. Do not reach directly for your pet inside the pouch as this can be quite scary for this little animal and it may bite you in defense. Instead, just hold the sugar glider sugar bear through the pouch, turn it inside out by folding it back in and you will have the animal in your hand.
