Sugar Glider Sugar Bear Nutrition 4

The internet openly promotes the use of complicated homemade recopies and concoctions for your sugar glider sugar bear, such as HPW, BML, Leadbeater’s and a wide variety of hybrids. The problem with this is that it looks fine on paper, but in reality, they are really complicated and time consuming with costly ingredients that are not readily available. Owners therefore omit some ingredients on their own to make the process simpler, which results in malnutrition.

Most cases that Vets encounter with sugar glider sugar bears are related to dietary issues caused due to this reason. Instead, you should opt in for pellet foods that are commercially available using all the knowledge about sugar glider sugar bear nutrition available to science. These are not only healthy and nutritious for your pet but also easy on you as an owner as they are cheap and simple to use. The best pellet foods are “Glide-R-Chow™” by Vet’s Pride and “NutriMax™” by Pocket Pets organization that only cost $5 per month per sugar glider sugar bear. These foods will form the 75% core nutritional requirement, with the remaining 25% coming in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables, an approximate size of 1/8th apple slice.

This should be supplemented by a calcium based multivitamin, the lack of which can cause serious problems in sugar glider sugar bears. It is best to buy the corresponding multivitamin to the pellet food you give your pet that is specially made for sugar glider sugar bears using that pellet food.

There should be at least 2 ounces of this food in their cages at all times, and the crumbs removed every morning. The fruits should be given at night without slicing them up, and sprinkling the multivitamin every other night. A plastic box with a hole at each end and at least 4 inches high should form a dining area for your pet to make sure that food is not wasted when your sugar glider sugar bear plays around in the cage.
